Multiple improvements are planned for the Horton Museum Center.
A beautiful, state-of-the-art 1400-square-foot Lecture Hall to be used for lectures, classes, conferences, demonstrations, business meetings and special events is planned. It will be equipped with the latest in audiovisual technology, including an assistive listening system for the hearing-impaired as well as a speaker’s multimedia podium, screen, LCD video projector, and wireless access. It will be handicapped accessible.
Lobby, Loggia and Courtyard
In addition, these areas will all undergo major improvements.
Located adjacent to the Lecture Hall, the 540-square-foot Commons will feature glass walls with stunning views and doors leading to the Courtyard. This space will be perfect for entertaining up to 60 people. The community will be able to use the space as well for conferences, meetings, lectures and special events.
A Foyer between the Lobby and Lecture Hall will provide practical access for ticketed events.
Small and Large Seminar Rooms
Seminar Rooms will create new spaces of different sizes for meetings, special events, break-out sessions and more. They will be equipped with up-to-date technology.
