Want to learn interesting and surprising facts about African American history?  Join us for our Basic Black 101 Lunch and Lecture.  The featured speaker is Dr. Corey D. B. Walker, Dean, College of Arts, Sciences, Business and Education, Winston-Salem State University and the John W. and Anna Hodgin Hanes Professor of the Humanities.

Dr. Walker will discuss his book, A Noble Fight: African American Freemasonry and the Struggle for Democracy in America. The book explores the beginnings of the black Masonic movement and its significance in African American history and society. Following a Q&A, Dr. Walker will sign books.

Cost $20 which includes a Jamaican lunch by Irie Rhythms Restaurant.
