Cobblestone’s Food Access Program

Cobblestone is committed to increasing access to good, clean food in the community through its own Food Access Program as well as the Farmer Foodshare Donation Station operated by WFU’s Campus Kitchen.               Farmers Foodshare logo

Contributions to the Food Access Program are used to match SNAP/EBT and WIC dollars used at Market.

Customers may also make monetary or produce donations directly to the Donation Station. Any money collected at the Donation Station is used to purchase fresh food directly from the Cobblestone producers, and all donated and purchased produce is distributed to communities within Winston-Salem.

Stop by the Information Booth or Donation Station to learn more!

Cobblestone Farmers Market producers offer a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, herbs, meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, fruits, flowers, and other farm products from the surrounding countryside, showcasing the Northwest Piedmont.

This independent farmers market program is one of North Carolina’s very few completely vetted, sustainable, producer-only farmers markets offering customers the guarantee that all vendors meet the sustainable, naturally-grown, and humane practices required by the market. All beef, lamb, and pork products are certified Animal Welfare Approved, which has the most rigorous standards for animal welfare in the U.S.
