Old Salem Historic District

Come to Old Salem to enjoy a special day for home-educated children and their Families! 

"Bountiful Harvest" features many hands-on activities and demonstrations throughout the historic district including:

• Help power the Cider Mill

• Make a pumpkin fritter

• Play an 18th century bean game

• See how flax is processed

• Watch brooms being made

• See how a brick oven bakes bread

• Learn about different grains

• Visit the heirloom gardens

• ...and much more!

Admission: $10 Adults/$8 Children includes all of the day's activities.

Reservations and pre-payment are required for this program and can be made be calling Tours & Reservations (1-800-441-5305).  Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Payment can be made by credit card or check.  Please phone in early as spaces for this event fill quickly!
