Throughout the year, Old Salem offers many varied music programs.  From recitals on the restored 1800 Tannenberg Organ, to jazz concerts featuring local artists, Old Salem celebrates the rich musical history of the Moravians throughout the year.

 

Upcoming Concerts include:

July 7, 14, 21, 28 Wednesday Noon Organ Recital Series – Join us for free concerts on the 1800 Tannenberg Organ at 12 noon in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium in the Old Salem Visitor Center.

August 14 “Jazz 4 Kidz,” a concert that is part of the Carolina Summer Music Festival, with a focus on welcoming children into the world of jazz!  The concert is at 11 am in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium.  Tickets are $5 adults/children (children 2 years and under receive free admission).

August 14 “Moon River.”  Two performances in one evening that are part of the Carolina Summer Music Festival, with vocalist Martha Bassett and Matt Kendrick and friends in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium.  7 pm and 9 pm, tickets are $17 adults/$15 seniors/$5 students.

August 28 “Mozart and Merriment.” Join us for the closing concert of the Carolina Summer Music Festival at 7:30 pm in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium  Tickets are $17 adults/$15 seniors/$5 students.  

December 1 The Limestone College Choir and Jazz Ensemble perform holiday music at 12 noon in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium in the Old Salem Visitor Center, free.
