Old Salem Museums & Gardens Presents A Soulful Christmas Concert and Food Tasting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (NOVEMBER 11, 2016)—Join Old Salem Museums & Gardens on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m.to celebrate the Christmas season with jazzy, spiritual, and Motown Christmas music. Enjoy a live performance by the dynamic R&B group, Envision, and hear some of your favorite holiday classics as recorded by The Temptations, Nat King Cole and more! Treat your taste buds to a “Soulful Christmas Tasting,” which will feature foods prepared by area restaurants and caterers. A Christmas reading, raffle and a selfie photo station will be among the festivities!
Participating restaurants include: California Fresh, The Flour Box Tea Room & Cafe, Forsyth Seafood, Sweet Potatoes, Carolina Vineyards and Hops, Willow’s Bistro, Menell’s Catering, The Crab Shack, KMS Creations, K&W Cafeterias, Willow’s Bistro, and more!
A Soulful Christmas will take place in the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium in the Old Salem Visitor Center at 900 Old Salem Road. Reserve a table for your group, family and friends (tables seat eight) for $240. Individual seats are $30 each. Reservations must be made by November 30 by calling 1-800-441-5305.
Proceeds from this event will be used to subsidize tour costs at the St. Philips Heritage Center at Old Salem Museums & Gardens for underserved youth.
