Old Salem to Host Flag Day Celebration

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (MAY29, 2015) –Old Salem Museums & Gardens will host a very special day of celebration in honor of Flag Day on Saturday, June 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m.

The historic district will be flying historic United States flags representing the different time periods of each building. Other activities will include historic trades demonstrations, hearth cooking, period patriotic music, and a hands-on activity where you can create your own patriotic punched paper.

All activities are included with the purchase of an All-In-One ticket, which is $23 for adults and $11 for children. Purchase a ticket online at oldsalem.org/visit/buy-a-ticket or at the Visitor Center, 900 Old Salem Road.
