Celebrate Easter Old-Salem Style
Winston-Salem, N.C. Round up the family and head to Old Salem Museums & Gardens April 3, when an Easter Egg hunt, puppet shows, and egg decorating will combine to provide an entertaining and historic seasonal celebration.
On Saturday, April 3, children will be charmed by “Eggs of Marvel Mountain” starring local celebrity puppets, Olga and Granny Ninsky, as they turn an unfortunate mishap into a magical Easter surprise. Performances are at 11:00 a.m., and 1p.m., in MESDA Auditorium, Frank L. Horton Museum Center. Cost is $2, or free with an All-In-One ticket.
On Saturday, April 3, Easter-themed activities are planned from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. throughout the campus. Participate in an Easter Egg Hunt in the morning, enjoy a Sugar Cake Vesper; and get creative with etched or painted eggs. All-In-One ticket required.
Old Salem will be closed on Sunday, April 4.
