We offer two types of tours to meet your students and your curriculum needs. Our hands-on, museum educator led Experience Tours are 2 1/2 hours in length and are for grades 1 - 8.  For a detailed description of the activities and NC Competency Goals and Objectives for each grade level see our Experience Tour page. The Self-Guided Historic Salem Town Visit provides students the opportunity to interact with our costumed interpretive staff while touring the historic district. A Salem Town Visit is an excellent way to see all the buildings in Salem and can be added on to a morning or afternoon Experience Tour to complete your day at Old Salem Museums & Gardens. We also offer the Salem Day video that provides an introduction to the history of the Moravians, the founding of Salem and a glimpse into the daily lives of the early settlers.
