At Old Salem Museums & Gardens, history comes alive during our hands-on activities:
- Experience life two hundred years ago in Salem.
- Refine your manners during a 19th century deportment lesson or try your hand at paper piercing.
- Get the chance to write with a quill pen or play games on the square.
- Explore these and many other historically based activities during your visit to Old Salem Museums & Gardens.
Scheduled hands-on activities may vary.
Hands-on activities are offered Wednesdays and Thursdays (10:30 a.m.—12 p.m. and 1 p.m.—2:30 p.m.); October—December and March—July in the Single Brothers’ House. (Activities may be cancelled due to inclement weather and not held on Science Alive dates).
