Visit www.mesdajournal.org to read current and past issues of the MESDA Journal.
The MESDA Journal (formally titled the Journal of Early Southern Decorative Arts) was established in 1975, and over the years has provided seminal articles in the field of southern decorative arts and has been an outlet for some amazing new discoveries. The online journal retains all the scholarly insight and images of the print version, but presents it in a new dynamic, interactive format. You can peruse all past issues, back to our very first issue from May 1975. In addition, the journal has scalable images, multimedia content, hyperlinks to other websites, and it is searchable, making finding information, articles, and images much easier.
New articles are published throughout the year, so please check back often or join our mailing list to receive emails when new content is available.
The online medium allows the MESDA Journal to reach the broadest audience possible. The journal is available free of charge, without subscription or fees for accessing it articles, but your financial support is appreciated. Your donation will be used to fund operating costs for the journal and any surplus will be added to an endowment fund for production of the MESDA Journal.
