Salem Saturdays in Autumn Workshop: Slip Trail Pottery

Workshop Description:  Take a seat in our pottery workshop and learn how the Moravian potters in Salem used slip trail designs and create your own unique slip trail plate.  Under the direction of one of our master craftsman, you can enjoy an afternoon of history and creativity.  Our hands-on workshops are perfect for families wanting to do something fun & educational together. When completed, these plates make perfect heirloom gifts.  Plates will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup about 2 months after the class.  If you are unable to pick up your finished plate, shipping is available for an additional $15 per family to US locations only.

Cost: $50 per person

Workshop Location: Potter’s Workshop Next to the T. Bagge Merchant Store on the Square.

*Maximum of 12 per class. For ages 10 and up.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.  Due to the highly interactive nature of these workshops, adults are not allowed to observe or tag along with a child unless they have also registered.
