Old Salem Museums & Gardens is pleased to partner in bringing fresh, local farm products into the heart of the city and restoring a tradition that began in Salem more than 200 years ago.
Cobblestone Farmers Market producers offer a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, herbs, meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, fruits, flowers and other farm products from the surrounding countryside, showcasing the Northwest Piedmont.
This independent farmers market program is one of North Carolina’s very few completely vetted, sustainable producer-only farmers markets offering customers the guarantee that all vendors meet the sustainable, naturally-grown, and humane practices required by the market. All beef, lamb and pork products are certified Animal Welfare Approved, which has the most rigorous standards for animal welfare in the United States.
Cash and checks accepted. ATM on site. SNAP/EBT and Farmers Market Nutrition Program WIC (Women, Infants & Children) accepted; additional funds available at Information Booth for eligible participants.
