SUMMARY:Girls' School Botany
DESCRIPTION:Botany has been a well-documented hobby in Moravian towns for centuries\, and schoolgirls were taught relevant botany skills in school. This program explores both the artwork and the botanical successes and failures of notable Moravian women of Salem in the 1800s. We will also give you the opportunity to try botanical documentation through watercolor. All skill levels are welcome\, and materials will be provided.
