Description:
A muzzle-loading flintlock rifle with a maple stock. The lock is held by one bolt. Inscript on lock. High comb with incised lines. Two spurs on trigger guard, double-set triggers. Two screws on barrel tang. Molding on side areas where lock is and side plate would be. Engraving on barrel tip. Octagon barrel with grooving.
History:
The high, incised comb is typical of the piedmont.
