Description:
Wrought iron goffering or crimping iron holder on three-legged stand.
History:
This goffering iron was used to press ruffles. The iron is heated in the fire, and then placed in the receptacle which is on three legs. The object to be ironed is then placed on the bullet shaped end, which is hot, and the ruffles are pressed around the cone shape.
