Description:
Found in the cellar of the Cape Fear Bank Building which was built in 1847, these hinges probably date to the original house on the lot, the Reuz House, which was built in 1783.

DESCRIPTION: Pair of “ram’s horn” shaped hinges.

History:
These hinges found in cellar of the Cape Fear Bank Building, in use on an old 4-panel door of the Reuz House period, 1783, and thought to have been from the original house on the lot.
