Description:
Made in the shop of Philip Reich, this pewter plate was marked by Reich on the underside. Although the pewter trade was never a prolific one in Wachovia, the survival of molds used in the shop and objects made in the shop illustrate the versatility of the Reich tradesmen who also worked in tin and copper.
