LABEL NOTES: The clockwork mechanism is attributed to Eberhardt. The reel is made by the same man as W-9 (a yarnwinder or swift). In comparing the reel and frame with W-38 by Karsten Peterson, the turnings appear to be the same. Karsten Peterson sold Eberhardt a reel on June 13, 1825 for $2.00.
