Description:
This tin and iron weather vane was probably made for the second Friedberg Church (North Carolina) building that was completed in 1827. The weathervane is in the shape of an arrow with word “Friedberg.” cut out of the tin. The tin is framed by iron. When received this vane was in two pieces, having been separated about midway of the length.
