The decoration at the center of our reproduction plate is described as a “sunburst”. The rim is decorated with an undulating line complemented by jeweled paisleys. The original piece was produced by the Loy/Albright family of potters in Alamance County, North Carolina, c.1790-1820. Our plate is made by Old Salem Museums & Gardens potters using lead-free glazes, making it both a practical and decorative item for your home. It measures 10.5″ in diameter and will arrive gift boxed with a “Handcrafted Salem 1766” tag.
