Wooden Moravian Star, Hickory

All of our wooden Moravian stars have interesting stories.  The Raleigh, North Carolina artisan that lovingly makes each star, carefully chooses woods that he can salvage and repurpose.  The Hickory used to create this star came from trees on the artisan’s property.  They had been felled to clear an area for his first workshop.  The wood was then dried and stored for many years before being turned once again into something beautiful.  Each star has the maker’s mark and will come with a tag explaining the wood’s origin.  6.5″ diameter.
