Description
This Moravian star was created by an artisan in Raleigh, North Carolina. His stars are made using only salvaged and repurposed woods. The wood for this star is Spruce. It came from a slab intended to become a mantlepiece. It had been left out to air dry. While outside, insects made it their home causing holes and indentations in the wood. The insects are now gone, leaving the wood with a beautiful, rustic look. Every star will have the maker’s mark imprinted on it. It will include a tag explaining the wood’s origin and be gift boxed. This star measures approximately 6.5″ in diameter. This wonderful handcrafted item can be displayed all year long and is sure to become a favorite family heirloom.
