Reservations for Groups

Groups of 12 or more people may make an advanced reservation for a self-guided tour the historic Town of Salem and the three self-guided galleries of the Museum of Early of Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA).

If your group has more than 12 children, please fill out our Student Field Trip Reservation Request form here.

Please do not fill out the form if you are in a group of less than 12! You do not need advance reservation.

How to Request and Book

1.) Choose 3 potential dates for your trip, at least 30 days prior to the first requested date. We are available for group reservations Wednesday – Saturday.

2.) Fill out the reservation request form at the bottom of the page! A member of our team will be in touch shortly to confirm the date of your reservation.

3.) Let us handle the rest! Once your date is confirmed, the Group Tours team will supply your contract and process all payments.

  • Old Salem does not refund tickets for “No Shows” on the day of the trip.
  • Any minors attending a Group Tour must stay with an adult the entire trip and may not enter a building without an adult.

MESDA Connoisseur Tours

Two-hour Connoisseur tours of MESDA are available Wednesday – Saturday. To book a MESDA Connoisseur tour, please contact
