AUGUST 10, Tuesday 7:30 pm in Salem Square: Women – celebrating women’s achievements in music and acting including Dreamgirls, Laura Nyro, Andrews Sisters, Meryl Streep, and your Salem Band solo clarinetists Kania, Gwyn, and Joanna! Pre-concert music by the Clemmons Ladies Vocal Quartet. All concerts FREE in Salem Square, Old Salem. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food vendors on site. Established in 1771, Salem Band is the oldest, continuous mixed wind ensemble in the nation. Eileen Young, Music Director. RAIN DATE = August 13th.
