Collection: Paintings and Drawings

Paintings and drawings allow us to better understand the rich cultural complexity of artistic production in Salem and the other Moravian towns in Wachovia. The collection ably demonstrates the diversity of training and styles with works by European-trained and native-born artists living in and traveling through Piedmont North Carolina.
