Description
This Moravian star was created by an artisan in Raleigh, North Carolina. His stars are made using only salvaged and repurposed woods. The oak used for this star has an interesting origin story. It was once parts of an old, worn out pump organ that was disassembled in the 1950s. Some of the wood was stored under a house for years until it was offered to the craftsman for his star-making purposes. It is some of the oldest wood he’s worked with. Every star will have the maker’s mark imprinted on it and will include a tag explaining the wood’s origin. This star measures approximately 5.5″ in diameter. This wonderful handcrafted item can be displayed all year long and is sure to become a favorite family heirloom.
